The first Savage Norden scheduled for the American market, is under final flying tests. This plane is the first, equipped with a larger instrument panel, designed to accomodate the Garmin G3X or the Dynon SkyView touch with 7”display (in the pic the new Garmin AERA 760) and the first to have our extended carbon baggage compartment which includes our custom mattress and cushion (and a multicolored led light system) that allows the pilot to camp inside the aircraft.
This zone is 195 cm (77 “) long and 66 cm (26”) wide at head height without the need to disassemble the removable rear stick. The sleeping boy on that photo is 150cm (4.9ft) tall for reference only.
The ability to load long objects (according to the CG of course) or to be able to camp with relatively good comfort inside our aircraft, was from the first moment, one of our main objectives.
