The barrier of real 125 mph (201 km / h) cruising speed with 26″ bushwheels tires and 1.367 lbs take off weight (620 kg) has finally been broken. Testing it in collaboration with our Czech dealer Mr. Marek Hyka, we can share some interesting preliminary datas since the combinations between engine rpm, map, consumption etc, are truly multiple and will require some time.
Here some of the interesting results:
(20° celsius outside temperature/1.000 ft ASL/ 1.025 mbar)
Economic cruise speed at 4.650 rpm with 29 MAP and 4.6 USGal/h – 17.5 lt/h consumption :
101 mph IAS (163 km/h) – 103 mph TAS (166 km/h)
Normal cruise speed at 4.880 rpm with 35.8 MAP and 6.3 USGal/h – 23.8 lt/h fuel consumption :
119 mph IAS (191 km/h) – 121 mph TAS (195 km/h)
Fast cruise speed at 5.200 rpm with 44 MAP and 8.9 USGal/h – 34 lt/h fuel consumption :
132 mph IAS (213 km/ h) – 135 mph TAS (217 km/h)
