We announced on early July our intention to sell the Norden plane even in a kit form and we are very pleased today to announce that a new Dealer has joined us focusing initially on the Savage Norden and the Savage Cub kits.
“Berg Aero Work” has officially become our new dealer for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi and Zambia.
Based in the beautiful Southern Drakensberg of KwaZulu-Natal, Berg Aero Works has developed into a specialist aviation business serving pilots, aircraft builders and aviation enthusiasts across South Africa and the African continent. One of the first significant steps in the company’s journey was becoming the African agent for Stewart Systems, an innovative water-based aircraft fabric covering system, followed some time later, by becoming the dealer of Bearhawk Aircraft. From fabric covering a homebuilt aircraft in a workshop to flying into a remote mountain airstrip, the common thread is the same—a passion for aviation and the freedom to go further. Scott Williams and Jayson van Schalkwyk created Berg Aero Works company, that was born out of a lifelong passion for aviation and a fascination with aircraft that are built to be used, not simply admired. Today, Berg Aero Works represents more than just aircraft products. It is about a community of people who share a passion for aviation, building their own aircraft, exploring remote places and experiencing the freedom that general aviation provides.
